Leadership Program

Leadership Program is the next step of survivors leadership where the survivors are already leaders. This project led the victims to survivors and the survivors to leaders. The collective namely Bijoyini leaders of 17 survivors of trafficking make awareness programmes in village, GP and block levels on Child protection, prevention of human trafficking, stigma, and importance of education in communities. Child marriage, domestic violence cases are managed by the leaders directly and in case of critical cases they link cases to management committees. Through this project they have been capacitate and developed skills on various areas like-drawing, drama, education, report and proposal writing, financial literacy etc. This group’ members have formed and nurtured 3 adolescents girls and boys groups where 39 members are there in Baduria block. Bijoyini leaders have participated in the research on “prevention of trafficking” and “legal justice for trafficked survivors”.
